As a parent seeking to be intentional about helping my children to build their lives on the solid foundation of the Word of God, I’m always excited to find companies that have products designed to help me do so.

We Choose Virtues
I was first introduced to We Choose Virtues in the spring of 2012 when I attended the 2:1 Conference. Heather McMillan (the owner of WCV) was a fellow conference attendee, and I had the pleasure of getting to know her at the conference and in the months to follow. Her heart is to help parents and educators to build children who had biblical character qualities through the products of We Choose Virtues.
Jenny, David, and I had the opportunity to try out the We Choose Virtues family pack last fall, and we were sold!

What’s in the Bible?
I’ve not had the privilege of meeting Phil Vischer, but I love his heart for teaching kids the Word of God in a way that helps them remember it and apply it to their lives. His newest venture, What’s in the Bible?, is perfect for kids who may have “outgrown” VeggieTales (though is it really possible to every outgrow VeggieTales?!?). Through the use of puppets and cartoon animation, Phil and his team take kids through the Bible from beginning to end, not only teaching the stories that are contained in each book, but teaching kids ABOUT the Bible and the books it contains.
Both Jenny and David are big fans of What’s in the Bible?!

GrapeVine Bible Studies
I absolutely LOVE Dianna Wierbe (founder/owner of GVS)! I had the privilege of meeting her shortly after being introduced to (and falling in love with) GrapeVine Bible Studies. Her heart and passion for teaching kids (and adults) the Word of God is just beautiful!
GrapeVine is probably one of my favorite tools for teaching the Bible to my kids. Using an inductive (versus topical) study method, GrapeVine takes kids through the Bible in a systematic way that helps them to break down and highlight the major points of each book of Bible. Whether you use the “fill-in-the-box” or the “traceable” stick figure drawings to study the text, kids of all ages are drawn into the study.
Jenny and David LOVE GrapeVine Bible Studies as much as I do!
