May [child] grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May [child] walk in Christ, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as he/she was taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
May [child] grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and also with man.
May [child] excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in love for others. May he/she also excel in the act of grace.
May [child] count it all joy when faced with trials, in order that the testing of his/her faith might produce steadfastness.
