What I Wore Wednesday
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted, so I decided to pick out a few of my favorite outfits from the past few weeks.
Also, since I’ve gotten QUITE LARGE over the past several weeks, I’ve started slacking on “looking cute” most days… lounge pants, basketball shorts, and casual t-shirts and sweatshirts have become my go-to clothes.
A Few Favorites
Outfit #1: I wore this outfit to my parents’ church on a Sunday morning, and didn’t manage to change out of it until after 5pm that evening. I had a few blisters on my feet by the end of the day, but at least I looked cute!
little black dress (not maternity) | green scarf | herringbone heels
Outfit #2: I wore this outfit to run errands around town – cute but comfy!
green top (maternity) | jeans (maternity) | slippers
Outfit #3: I wore this outfit to speak at the Warsaw Women’s Expo – the boots might not look it, but they were actual quite comfy!
polka dot dress (not maternity) | black leggings (maternity) | black jacket (not maternity) | black boots
Outfit #4: Headed to church, I wanted to be comfy without looking sloppy, and I loved this combination of pieces. My kids thought it’d be fun to jump in the picture, too.
blue maxi dress (not maternity) | gray cardigan (maternity) | black leggings (maternity) | red scarf | black flats
Outfit #5: Another day of running errands around town – cute and comfy is the key!
blue top (maternity) | jeans (maternity) | slippers
Outfit #6: Not so much an outfit as much as a belly shot… this was taken in the elevator at the Hyatt Place during our “Unofficial” Spring Break Staycation last week.
Outfit #7: It got WARM (i.e. upper 50s) while we were in Chicago last week, and my “internal heater” made long sleeves a bit too much, so I pulled out a short sleeved top for the day. I had a couple of cute “props” added to the photo.
black tank top (not maternity) | blue polka-dot top (not maternity) | jeans (maternity) | slippers
Outfit #8: Like I said at the beginning of the post – I’ve gotten LARGE over the past several weeks, and clothes aren’t fitting quite right. This isn’t an outfit so much as just a photo of me showing how poorly clothes are fitting over my baby bump right now.
Outfit #9: And because I think they’re adorable, I included a few photos of my family dressed in their Easter outfits from this past weekend.
Have you been successful in getting dressed the past few weeks?
It truly does make a difference for me – it sets the tone for my day!
