DIY Pinecone and Evergreen Candle Holder
After our fun using pinecones for learning to count last week, I decided to repurpose the pinecones and greens we’d collected and create a quick and easy DIY pinecone and evergreen candle holder. It took less than five minutes to put together and was easy enough my two year old was able to help!
For this easy DIY candle holder project, you’ll need the following supplies:
- pillar candle (you could also use a battery-operated pillar candle)
- clear glass candle holder
- pinecones and evergreen branches
- scissors (for trimming branches and/or the candle wick)
It’s so super easy to put this pinecone candle holder together – just layer and enjoy!
Place the candle in the candle holder.
Add a layer of pinecones around the candle in the holder.
Add your greens, and add pinecones to fill in the rest of the holder.
(Be sure not to allow the greens and pinecones to reach above the top of the candle to avoid them catching on fire when you light the candle.)
This is super simple and perfect for giving as a gift or displaying in your own home!
This would make a great gift for your kids to make for their teachers for Christmas presents – I know my kids would love to give them to their teachers!
